Starboard Village 225- Sandpiper Cottage

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Sandpiper Cottage. It is beautifully decorated with stunning views of Pensacola beach from two balconies. The unit is very clean with an in unit washer and a dryer. It was also very nice having a garage underneath. We enjoyed using the beach chairs and an umbrella located in the garage. The check in and check out process was so easy. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and we would love to come back!

We very much enjoyed out stay. The pictures do not do justice to the room views. The unit was clean and bigger than expected as well. The unit is parked right on the beach and the master bedroom has a large sliding door to the balcony overlooking the gulf. The temperature was in the 50-60's so we left the AC off and opened the door to the gulf each night. Listening to the waves, feeling the cool breeze and sleeping on a nice mattress in the master bedroom is worth the whole trip. The kids had fun on the each and the restaurants are awesome. We will return to this unit.

We loved it! View from the deck is spectacular. Having had a B&B and also a rental on VRBO we are very particular with the places we rent. The unit is quite spacious and it’s nice to have a garage. We felt very safe and restaurants were nearby. The ocean was so clean and the white sand so soft. I did look for a hair dryer and found none. I quit bringing mine when traveling because one was always provided. There is everything needed to cook but no salt or pepper or seasonings. We will definitely return and possibly to this very unit. The unit is well managed. We were at the beach the morning we were to leave by 10. At 9:45 we tried to re-enter the unit to grab my purse and a back pack but the code wouldn’t work. We called management and were given a code right away to get back in so we could depart. Thanks again!

Condo was perfect for our family of 5, kids 6,11,14. Great space, awesome views from Master and living room. Right on the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. Convenient to all restaurants and activities. Condo was clean, and the property management company communicated well and often. We will definitely stay here again on a trip to Pensacola.

The condo is beautiful with amazing beach views! The king bed is comfortable, nice walk-in shower and there were more than enough bath towels. The beach access is close and easy. We enjoyed many evenings on the balcony and the couch was very comfy! The only items we missed not having were more than one dish towel, cleaning spray for the counters and a blow dryer. Not a deal breaker for us and we’ll definitely be back! Loved our stay and we’ll be checking the beach cam from time to time!

We stayed at Starboard Village #225, Sandpiper Cottage. This place was amazing . The views were so beautiful. There were 2 decks to view the water. We could lay in the bed and look at the water. The staff was so responsive even when we couldn't get in. This will definitely be a place that we will come back and visit.

This place was beautiful, right on the beach. There is only 30 or so units, so it was very quiet with access to the beach. There were 2 parking spots included in the rental with one being a private code access to the garage. Both bedrooms had their own private bathroom, with an additional half bath downstairs. In the master bedroom we could lay in bed and view the water. It was so pretty. The place had 2 separate decks which was nice. The reservation staff was extremely helpful and very responsive.

I’ve stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. We look forward to coming back with more family. EVERYTHING is perfect about this place! Literally the only thing I would improve would be the sheets on the bed in the master bedroom. Great bed but the sheets must be too small. You end up fighting with them the whole time and that got old fast haha. That’s a pretty minor thing to complain about so you know this place is great.

Incredible stay at Sandpiper Cottage! The townhouse was exactly like the pictures and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The views from both balconies are breathtaking. We loved this condo for the amazing views, cleanliness, plenty of space for our family of 4 (room for more if needed), comfortable décor, kitchen supplies, extra blankets, beach supplies, 1-car garage, and proximity to the beach, pool, walking/biking trail, and Peg Leg Pete's! The property management company was extremely quick to respond when the AC malfunctioned once (no other AC issues, temp was quite comfortable other than that brief time). Other reviews did not like the beds, but we absolutely loved the firmness of the master bed. I'd love to come back and have already shared the link for this unit with a friend, highly recommend!

We had a great week in Pensacola, and this condo was beautiful!! It was clean and had everything we needed. The views of the ocean from both balconies were breathtaking. We loved that it was a very short walk to the beach and pool. If you are someone who struggles with steps then this condo would not be for you, but it was perfect for our family of 4. We've visited many spots on the FL panhandle, and this became our favorite! We hope to visit again.

Nice & well-maintained property with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Just steps from the beach and we enjoyed the chairs and umbrellas on hand. Loved view and the sound of the waves from both porches. Good location too. Beach was not crowded. Walkable to restaurant/bar (Peg Leg Pete’s can have a long wait but you can join the waitlist via Yelp well before you actually want to go) and convenience store. Short drive to GlowPaddle, restaurants, shops, and other activities. Renting bikes and heading west to the National Seashore will get you to secluded beaches. Drive across the bridge to Pensacola in 20 minutes to enjoy a day/night on the town. Get some fresh seafood (try the Royal Red shrimp) from Joe Patti’s and throw it on the grill or stove. What a place!

This property for our brief stay on Pensacola Beach was just as pictured - beautifully and very tastefully decorated as expected for a beach cottage accommodation. The furnishings were certainly comfortable and appropriate for our purposes. I would certainly recommend this property to others and consider a return visit for ourselves. The only suggestion I would leave is that the television viewing directions be more specific. We put in a call after struggling with trying to figure out what service was provided by the owner and also how to enter our subscription to Prime and Netflix for our viewing. The weather, unfortunately, wasn't always the best during our few days so television viewing was an option we wanted to take advantage of. After our call, someone came to our rescue very promptly and had to reload an app on all the televisions. My only wish was that we had called sooner as after that, it was perfect. We thought we were the ones who were doing something wrong. Since we had a good bit of rain during our stay, a covered stairwell would have been helpful also. But we managed and it is stated in the information that there are not elevators. The stairs were not the easiest to maneuver with luggage, etc. in the rain. But we realized from the description that the stairs were the only way to the unit. We certainly enjoyed our time there and the view of the Pensacola Beach was perfect. I was very pleased with the property. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and we had no issues cooking in the kitchen. The only feedback I would offer is the mattress's were not very comfortable. Looking forward to going back!

We loved our stay at this property. From the first minutes we walked in to this unit, I knew we would love to come back in the future. The unit was extremely clean. There was no musty smell like in many other units located on the beach. The decor was adorable (the VRBO pictures are outdated). The living room furniture was comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious with a walk-in closet and gorgeous views of the ocean from the large wall of windows and balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need and more. The kitchen cabinets were not renovated but it didn’t bother us because the overall feeling of the unit was highly positive: welcoming, comfortable, fresh and cozy. The beach was literally steps away with a nice white sand and to say it was not crowded is to underestimate the statement. The cons: couldn’t figure out the thermostat that followed a weird schedule and was cooling down the unit more than we wanted to so we had to change the temperature manually throughout the day and sometimes night, but frankly we didn’t try hard enough to handle it/find instructions online on how to do it (the thermostat was not self explanatory) because it was not such a big deal for us. Another thing is that if you are used to sleep in the dark like we are, it won’t happen in this master bedroom because the side windows have blinds only and they let the bright street lights go through them and it’s pretty bright in the room at night. And the final and major complaint is that the master bedroom mattress is too soft and doesn’t provide any support. I personally had to sleep in the kids’ room on the queen bed with a more supportive mattress because my back was killing me after the first night in the master bedroom. But if you don’t have a back problem then you may not consider it as a flaw. I would love to return to this property next year so if possible please replace the master bedroom mattress.

We arrived on the Saturday that the blue angels were performing. We had no idea and we were concerned when we saw cars and people EVERYWHERE! Great news though, the days that followed were awesome and crowds where very thin. I’ll say this, too many “fisherman” on the beach. Never saw them catch any fish but I did end up with a hook in my foot one afternoon! But that’s not really related to this unit. The place was beautiful and I’ll keep it on my list for next year.

What a wonderful townhome this was for our family vacation! Spotless, comfy and had all the amenities we could ask for! We had to get one of the sliding doors fixed which was done within hours of us calling the property manager office. Beachfront view from the decks was unbelievable. This condo was quiet, clean, spacious - perfect! From our balconies and right out our door on the beach we saw dolphins almost every day we were there. It rained a little bit during a few of the days while we were there, so the condo was the perfect place to read, relax and play games. (Original forecasts predicted heavy rain 4/5 days we were to be there.) The week cleared and the days were perfect as were the sunsets. We could enjoy the rain from the huge window area while sitting at the table eating or playing. We could open the sliding glass doors just to enjoy the sounds of the ocean, the birds, the rain. Perfect! We had a couple of surprise Blue Angel fly overs one day, then we walked down the beach a little way to see them practicing for an upcoming show. What a treat. The fishermen and the herons were very entertaining throughout the week. We were close to great food, miniature golf, escape rooms, Navarre Beach Pier, Fort Pickens and the beautiful Pensacola Beach area. We enjoyed it all in this beachfront condo. It was fully equipped with everything we needed including umbrella and chairs. We hope to go back!

But one storm brought nice shelling the following morning. We would love to come back here, but probably in summer when the temperatures are warmer. It's a beautiful area and a lovely townhouse. The property managers were very helpful and friendly, and when we had a question they couldn't answer, they contacted the owners, who responded immediately with information.

This home is everything the ad says: two balconies (3rd floor and 2nd floor) facing the gulf, steps away from the beach. You could sit in bed or on the balcony watching the waves the whole day! The interior is beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Excellent for social-distancing, being a top-floor corner unit. Share garage with neighbors but no elevator. The access to the unit is via an outdoor staircase. Minor imperfections: guests need to bring their own towels, shampoo and body wash. The garage door is very narrow (but you will be provided with 2 parking passes to park outside if you prefer). We absolutely love the unit and plan to come back!

This condo is fully stocked with everything you may need for a beach vacation. The condo complex, pool area, and the beach was not every crowded and easily allowed for social distancing. We were able to ask for a late checkout due to a meeting that I had to attend, which helped us enormously. We definitely will look to be repeat customers!

We loved this property! The decor was lovely and the space was ample. Two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own large closet and bathroom. The master has a huge deck and amazing view. The downstairs also has a bathroom, decent sized kitchen and large living room with another very large deck. The place was super clean. I cannot stress enough how wonderful that was to see. All the little things were there as well, such as sharpened knives, a blender and loads of tupperware. The kitchen was top notch as far as everything one would need for a week. The location also cannot be beat. The beach was lovely and just a quick jaunt down the stairs and you are there. The pool was perfect and we often had it to ourselves. There isn't a lifeguard but they are driving around multiple times a day. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella from Lazy Days beach service and they were wonderful as well. We had everything we needed. Last, the property management was great. We decided to extend our stay and they were super helpful and made that happen with ease. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Unit 225 at Starboard Village is an excellent rental! The owner has thought of everything and made a very comfortable and nice condo that served as our base for a perfect beach getaway. We will be back!

Great place for two couples enjoying a winter break at the beach. The unit was clean, bright and full of modern amenities. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. We made full use of the walk-in closets. The kitchen was well stocked and supported all of our cooking adventures. Great meals on the balcony while we enjoyed the view.

We have been visiting Pensacola Beach since 1999 and have always had such a great experience! The view is amazing and the unit is updated with everything needed. There are a lot of stairs with this condo, but overall we would stay in this unit again! Can't wait to go back!! Flounders is always one of our favorite restaurants. This time we tried breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with Native Café! Bands on the Beach on Tuesday evenings is always a highlight as well.
