A lovely getaway.
The location of San Souci was perfect for our family. My kids love the beach but don't want to stay all day. Having the option to play on the beach and go back to our cool room multiple times a day worked well for us. The room was clean and comfortable. And the balcony had an amazing view. Property was just as listed. It was right on the beach with a beautiful view! The view from the front entrance was nice too. Pensacola beach was right down the road. The inside was clean and very welcoming, we felt very comfortable. I did a oogle review as well with pics ( if youre inrerested) . Communication with the host was very easy. Great condo!
This property had everything we needed, and a fantastic view! The teens loved the pool and hot tub, parasailing, and shopping. I loved being right on the beautiful beach. Being across the street from my favorite restaurant was a bonus, as well as being so close to where the Blue Angels practice. I hope to stay here again! Next time I will bring a couple of rolls of quarters for the big coin laundry there. This was my first time staying in Pensacola Beach, and I loved it. Perfect location
This unit is so close to the beach and the bay it’s got views from both directions! It overlooks the Sabine Bay as well as sits directly on the ocean so you take less than 50 steps and you’re plopping down in white sand and feeling the sand in your toes! The unit, the grounds, the street, the pool, the private parking lot, the laundry mat, all were pristine which is a MUST FOR ME! I recommend this place and I will stay here again. The beds in unit 508 were completely comfortable and linens were clean and ample were provided as well as everything you needed for the kitchen, toys , chairs, and umbrellas for the beach! ??????- Posted: 10/24/2022

Breathtaking views
Right on the water and the walk to the beach was easy. Not like when we stayed in Destin and the sand was a football field wide to get to water. And to top it off Peg Leg Pete’s restaurant is directly across the street(great food!) just make sure u get on wait list about 2 hours before u want to eat, it is popular.- Posted: 5/14/2022

The condo was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The unit has a parking spot under the building which is nice. There is a closet full of chairs and beach toys. Convenience store and great restaurant directly across the street. Laundry room on first floor was easy and clean since the condo doesn’t have a washer dryer. Bring some quarters. All forecasts had it turning east, and we watched closely as it did just that. After it moved east and cleared out we had a great time on the beach. We were leery, we are used to one condo at Sans Souci, but the view made the trip! :) Clean and comfortable with all the needed items! Loved some of the beach stuff in the closet...chairs, umbrellas, sand toys. We always bring our stuff, but this was a nice addition. We did contribute a watermelon tube before leaving so enjoy floating in the ocean with it! The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and there are fans! It got a little stuffy mid week, but the two fans made a world of difference! The view is marvelous and sitting on the balcony at anytime of the day is refreshing. I think my only complaint is the sofa bed linens did not really fit so it was a constant tug trying to keep them to stay on at night. King sized pillows need to be replaced and comfortable furniture placed on the balcony. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The entire unit could stand to be updated but if you are not spending a lot of time in it I guess it doesn't matter. We will probably stay there the next time we visit Pensacola. On the breezy Gulf "without a care" and without crossing the road

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was thrilling to hear the loud waves at night when the wind was kicking up and the tide changing. We were happy to have paid the extra money for direct Gulf frontage and loved our time out on the balcony, as well as on the beach. Appreciated the faucets on wooden walkway for foot washing and appreciated the covered parking to lessen the salt damage. The bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable mattresses; the décor was a bit of a generational and time-warp from a couple decades back but certainly acceptable for a beach cottage (there were, nonetheless, 3 HD televisions). The back bedroom does need more lighting since the window blinds have to be closed all day long for privacy because of the walkway directly outside. The mismatched lamps and lampshades were always tipping and needed much higher watt bulbs or an additional floor lamp by the chair. Appreciated the cushioned bed bench for suitcases or people. It may be time for a freshening up of new bedspreads and curtains, ditching the floral pattern. Kitchen was quite adequately equipped. Our one major complaint was that at least 6 dinner plates in the cabinet and a couple pieces of the flatware and bowls all had remnants of a previous guest's egg breakfast. That was a big turn-off and absolutely unacceptable to have to wash all the dishes before we could eat off them. We also thought the cloth potholders and mitts were stained/frayed and too shabby 1980s. The sponges did not look good at all. Either get rid of them entirely or provide a brand new one each time in cellophane. All in all, we'd certainly choose Sans Souci again as a complex because it was a short vacation "sans souci." We'd maybe choose a different unit but were happy with the floor plan and the high floor. We lucked out on gorgeous weather all 4 days. A guest from Stillwater OK- Posted: 4/6/2013
